My Search for the Perfect Notebook System

I am always on the search for the perfect notebook system. What I’m looking for is the most effective way to organize my papers and notebooks, especially my at-hand/carry-around papers containing my writing notes and ideas. I’ve done binders, portfolios, loose file folders, multi-subject notebooks, and on and on.

But a few months ago, I realized something: the search for the perfect notebook system is the perfect notebook system!

For me, organizing papers is a big part of both the fun and the process of writing. So now I’m letting myself just have fun with it and change up my system as much as I want to.

It’s always a delicious feeling to realize that, in some area, my best practice is not to squelch my natural tendencies but to encourage them!

Organizing our notes and research papers is really a challenge. Your notebook certainly looks like the perfect answer to this dilemma
